Hasil Lomba Delicious Seoul Story 2012

Bulan Agustus kemarin, saya dan Riskha, temen dekat saya (deket banget, wong tinggalnya sebelah kamar kosan saya LOL!), ikutan lomba masak Delicious Seoul Story yang diselenggarakan oleh Seoul Tourism Organization. Lomba masaknya itu berupa membuat sebuah video masak makanan Korea ataupun fusion selama 3 menit yang kemudian diunggah ke YouTube.

So, how to win?

Selain tentunya harus mengunggah video yang ingin dilombakan, bagian kita adalah mencari LIKES dan COMMENT sebanyak-banyaknya. Sisa penilaiannya ditentukan oleh juri, mulai dari soal keunikan resep, seberapa passionate-nya kita akan makanan Korea, dsb. Yang jelas, selera dan keputusan juri tidak bisa diganggu gugat. In the end, they would pick 5 teams all over the world to win a 5-day-gourmet trip to Korea! Cool, isn't it?! :D

Untuk ikutan lomba ini, in the end, after having a lot of discussion, both of us chose to cook SAMGYETUNG! Hahaha, what is that? It's a mix of SAMGYETANG and SOTO BANDUNG. Why Samgyetang? FYI, Samgyetang (삼계탕) is a very well-known ginseng chicken soup in Korea. Biasanya dikonsumsi orang-orang Korea ketika musim panas. Jadi, karena lomba ini diselenggarakan ketika lagi musim panas juga di sana, kita pilih masak Samgyetang. Then, why soto Bandung? Because we are living in Bandung (sebenarnya Bandung coret sih, hahaha...)

Untuk merekam videonya sendiri, memakan waktu dua hari. Di awal video, kami menggunakan konsep ala Running Man, soalnya kita berdua sedang terkena wabah Running Man kala itu, hahahaha... *gubraks! Untuk mengedit, kami butuh sekitar 3-4 hari karena emang rada ribet since we are amateur in video editing, hahaha... Selama waktu mengedit video sampai masa voting selesai, banyak sekali pertolongan dan keajaiban yang Tuhan berikan lewat orang-orang sekitar kita. Praise the Lord for His mercy and goodness! :)

Hahaha, gimana gimana? Garingkah? Wkwk. You can try this healthy recipe if you want for sure :D Enak loh, seger! Kuahnya rasa soto Bandung, tapi ayamnya bercita rasa Samgyetang... *promosi, hahaha... Untuk bahan masakan Koreanya, bisa dibeli di Korean Mart, misalnya di MuGungHwa. Search aja di Google where the nearest Korean/foreign mart from your house is.

We received more than 600 views and 200 likes in less than 24 hours! Thank you so much! Thank you Twitter, Facebook, KakaoTalk! LOL

So, what is actually the result? Selama ini, banyak yang menanyakan, tapi belum sempet jawab satu-satu. Maafkan yaaa...

The result is...

Jeng... jeng... jeng...

WE LOST! Hahahaha...

But, we had fun indeed! :D

Praise the Lord for whatever the result is!

FYI, actually, I got a revelation through a dream one night before the announcement so when I got the news, I didn't feel so surprised hahahaha :p

We both feel really sorry for everyone who had supported us if we dissapointed you! :(

Special to our beloved Korean friends and also our dearest Indonesian "family" residing in Korea, we'll meet again someday! Thank you for supporting us all this time!!!
